Are you staying off your bike because it hurts your knees? Do you have knee pain when you're not on the bike? Read on to learn how you can fix some of these issues today!

Pain In the Front of the Knee

If you have pain in the front of your knee while riding a bike (spin bike, road bike, mountain bike, etc.) the easiest way to resolve this is to raise your seat. It doesn't have to be dramatic. Just a small increase in seat height can help to alleviate pain in the front of your knee!!

Pain On the Side of the Knee

If you are on the bike and you feel pain on the outside of your knee then try to lower your seat a bit.

General Knee Pain

If you have knee pain and have been told your have "arthritis" then the best thing for you to do is move your knee. Riding any type of bike at low speed with moderate resistance is going to help you lubricate your joint.

By moving the knee through a big range of motion (like on a bicycle) you will decrease the symptoms that are a hallmark of "arthritis."

"Arthritis" is not the end of your life. "Arthritis" is a symptom of some other things going on with your knee. It is a normal part of aging and it does not mean you have pain. If you have knee pain and have been diagnosed with "arthritis" that just means something is causing your knee to have that symptom!
