We all get busy some times. That shouldn't mean we can't feel better. At BodyFix PT and Performance, we offer a chance to have treatments remotely. That means, if you are currently in Washington State, we can treat you over the computer!
What is Telehealth?
Telehealth is the act of delivering treatment via phone or video chat on the computer! This means that if you want to do some of your visits in person (remember we come to you) or over the computer (you can use your phone) we have you covered. We meet over a secure, HIPPA compliant, software to have a virtual session. You will be guided through some things to help you feel better and get you back to your active lifestyle.
The Pros of Telehealth
There are many advantages to using telehealth for you to get and feel better! First, you can be anywhere in Washington State and have your treatment. You can learn how to work on yourself to get better. By doing telehealth, you can avoid the time it takes to drive to an appointment (or prepare for me to come to your home or business). The only thing you don't get with telehealth is the hands on, in person touch. But it is okay to not have that for every treatment session!
What You Need for Telehealth
There are only 2 major things that you need to participate in telehealth.
A computer or phone with internet and a camera
Enough space to move around
If you have both of these things you are all set. If you decide you want to use your phone, then you may need a place to stand it up when you are doing some of the movements you will need to do. Most of my clients have been able to set it up against a wall or a book.
What Platform Does BodyFix Use?
We use Google Meet. Google Meet is HIPPA compliant. It is a secure software that is free for everyone to use. Your appointment will have it's own private room that only you and I have access too!!
Do I Have to Do Telehealth?
You do not! It totally depends on what you want, and where you are located. BodyFix PT is currently serving the east King County area with other areas in and around Seattle up for discussion!
