Eat more antioxidants!
Have you ever been told that? I have. But do you know what they are and where to find them?
What Are Antioxidants?
Simply put, antioxidants are molecules (found in food and other sources) that help fight free radicals in your body. Free radicals, in too high of an amount, can cause harm to your body. But you do need some free radicals to help fight off infection. Antioxidants help keep you level in check.
Antioxidants can be found in many foods that you eat.
Good Foods for Antioxidants
Blueberries
Raspberries
Pecans
Dark Chocolate
Artichokes
Kale
Goji berries
Strawberries
Beans
If you eat any of these regularly, you probably are good to go. If not, you may want to add them into your weekly intake.
